Tryline Capital is a real estate investment firm focused on value-add and development properties in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US. We have patient, flexible capital that pursues direct investments in quality properties alongside aligned, best-in-class partners. Tryline has nearly 1,100 apartment units in its portfolio and is actively seeking to expand this footprint.

Tryline targets investments with the following characteristics:

  • Property Types: Multifamily and mixed-use value-add and development properties
  • Deal Criteria: Properties with a specific value-creation plan
  • Deal Size: $25 – $75 million in transaction value

Our team

William Harsh

Managing Partner

Will Harsh is a Managing Partner at Tryline Capital. Will holds a MS in Real Estate Development and an MPA in Urban Policy, both from Columbia University. He graduated from Princeton with a degree in Politics, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica. He sits on the Housing and Homeless Committee at the Robin Hood Foundation.

Jaryn Horner

Managing Partner

Jaryn is a Managing Partner at Tryline Capital and has 15 years of finance, investment and real estate experience. Prior to Tryline, Jaryn was a Vice President at Wafra Inc, where he invested in middle market private equity transactions across the energy, transportation, telecom and real estate sectors. Previously, he worked in industrials investment banking at Wells Fargo and Deutsche Bank where he helped execute M&A as well as equity and debt capital markets transactions. Jaryn has a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University
